Data sovereignty isn’t an add-on for Netzkundig AI solutions; it’s a foundational principle. In practice, that means: in every project I review which data gets processed where – and recommend solutions that match those requirements specifically. That includes open-source models you can run yourself (e.g. Llama, Mistral), as well as European-hosted private AI infrastructure via an established partner network. US cloud services come into play only where data sensitivity and compliance explicitly allow it – and always as a deliberate decision, never as the default.

What does it cost – and where should we start?

The most sensible entry point is the AI Status – a structured short assessment that delivers a clear picture of your AI maturity in a half-day session (remote or on-site), including a written report. After that, you decide whether and how to continue – with no follow-up obligation. If you’d rather tackle a specific use case right away, the Use Case Workshop is the alternative starting point. Many AI agencies describe themselves as «vendor-neutral» or «provider-neutral». What does that actually mean in your case?

Fair question, since the term has been used to the point of meaninglessness. At Netzkundig AI it means specifically: I receive no commissions or partner payments from technology providers. I’m not bound to any reseller contract that would influence my recommendations. The recommendation you get from me is based solely on your use case, your data situation, and your resources – not on my next quarterly target. If an established US service is the best fit for your case, I’ll say so. If an open-source alternative or European infrastructure is a better match, I’ll say so just as plainly. For me, vendor-neutrality isn’t a marketing promise; it’s the precondition for trustworthy advice.
